Knudsen Vineyards
The Knudsen siblings
For more than 50 years, Knudsen Vineyards has been a pillar of the Oregon wine industry, helping to shape the reputation of the Willamette Valley as one of the world’s premier wine regions. Founded in 1971 by Cal and Julia Lee Knudsen, the estate was among the first in the Dundee Hills, pioneering the cultivation of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. With a vision for the future, the Knudsens planted their vineyard in the region’s distinctive red Jory soil—a volcanic clay-loam known for its exceptional drainage and mineral complexity, ideal for growing expressive, world-class wines.
Through decades of innovation, stewardship, and an uncompromising commitment to quality, Knudsen Vineyards has maintained its reputation for exceptional Oregon wine, consistently earning top marks and awards from world-class reviewers. The vineyard’s high-elevation slopes and diverse clones contribute to wines that are elegant, complex, and deeply rooted in a sense of place. As the Oregon wine industry has flourished, Knudsen Vineyards has remained at its heart, playing a key role in elevating the state’s reputation on the world stage.
Today, second-generation owner and Managing Partner Page Knudsen Cowles continues this legacy. Under her leadership, the family has expanded winemaking under the KV Wines label while continuing to cultivate some of the region’s most sought-after fruit. She has spearheaded a substantial replanting of the vineyard, ensuring its longevity and ongoing excellence, while also serving as a respected voice in both the wine and cultural communities.
Warm, engaging, and deeply connected to the vineyard’s story, Page brings unmatched insight to each glass poured—making her presence at this special dinner a rare and memorable opportunity.

I’m thrilled to be partnering with Page and the team at Knudsen Vineyards for this special evening. Their wines have such a beautiful sense of place—capturing the elegance and character of Oregon’s renowned Dundee Hills. Creating dishes that complement and highlight those flavors has been an inspiring process.
It’s going to be a night to remember.
